My 2 year old started dance with Ms. Karen in the toddler class and LOVED it! We had so much fun on Saturdays and she still practices on her own. If we still lived in the area, we would absolutely be continuing her dance experience at Academy of Dance. I highly recommend this studio!
I’ve been dancing at AOD since I was 10 years old. I started dancing more intensively as a teen and getting really involved with everything at the studio. I was on company, performing around middle Georgia, and traveling to compete for years. Academy of Dance is where I met all of my best friends, who I’m still close to, even after graduating four years ago. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to grow up at. The teachers I’ve had over the years have all been amazing and they not only taught me how to dance, but how to be an amazing person. I started teaching dance after high school and became a certified instructor. I love the environment I’m able to work in, with a supportive boss and wonderful students! Academy of Dance really has given me a second family and I couldn’t be more grateful for it!
Academy of Dance has been a second family to us for thirteen years. The director Kim Rowley and all the dance instructors have lovingly nurtured my daughter and helped shape her into a talented young woman with a passion for excellence, not only in dance, but in life. Their focus on proper dance technique and terminology has given my daughter the skills and drive to take her confidently into studying dance at the collegiate and professional level.
I started dancing at the Academy of Dance at age 4, and fell completely in love with dance and the staff! I was given so many opportunities to grow as a person and an artist at AOD, and am forever grateful to the staff for making me feel loved and supported enough to step outside of my comfort zone at least once a week! I’m now a professional dancer and choreographer in the Nashville area, but my teaching and choreography has gained the attention of studio owners all across the U.S.
I want to give a special thanks to the owner and director, Kim Rowley, for seeing something special in me and my ability to teach and choreograph, and for providing me with opportunities that have shaped me into the person I am!
Academy of Dance has been so accommodating to my girls, one of them who has ADHD. The teachers are excellent especially Mrs.Nina who works great with my daughter. The staff are so friendly and seem to genuinely care about the students.
The dance teachers are amazing. They not only teach dance but also how to treat others and instill good manners. My daughters teacher was amazing when she had a complete meltdown. She was patient, calm, and helped her work through it. Everyone treats you and your little one as family there and help you with anything you may need.
My daughters have been dancing at the Academy of dance in Warner Robins for for 3 years now and have loved every minute of it! The teachers and staff are very warm, patient, and knowledgeable in their fields. It’s more than just a dance studio, it’s another home and another family!
My 5 year old had been taking dance with Academy of Dance for a year. Miss Karen is amazing with teaching the younger kids so my daughter quickly fit right in on her first day and enjoyed going to classes every week. They have a wide variety of classes for all ages scheduled for times that were accommodating for working parents. The director Kim is fantastic – friendly, very involved, passionate about dance and runs a fantastic studio. Unfortunately we are moving out of state, but I believe my daughter would have danced with AOD though high school if we could stay. I highly recommend them.
My daughter started dancing here at the age of 2 when we moved to Houston Co. She’s now 5 years old and absolutely LOVES to dance! She’ll start Tap & Ballet this season and we’re equally excited about it! She performed in the recital this past June & the entire family was able to see how confident she is when dancing! Ms. Kim is always caring & nice & she’s so gentle & kind with the kids.
My 11 year old daughter absolutely loved her time here. We are a military family and have sadly since relocated. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a studio that makes you feel like family. My baby was brand new to dance and they made her feel very welcome.
This is our third year with Academy of Dance. The family feel, gifted dance instructors, and age-appropriate choreography are what keep us coming back every year.

So far I am super impressed! Most dance studios typically are filled with people who have little patience for those who love it but don’t have tons of training…or so it has felt like to us until now. We feel welcomed here and my daughter absolutely loves it! we look forward to each week’s class. She loves music and dance but her Confidence in her dancing ability was not great. Now when I tell her she dances well she believes me because her Confidence has grown tremendously.
We LOVE AOD!!! The 30/30 tap and ballet class is perfect for beginner dancers! My daughter has learned so much in such a short amount of time, French vocabulary, names of steps, etc. Owner, staff, and teachers are all great and truly love what they do!
Academy of Dance has the best teachers and families! My daughter has made so many memories and new friendships there since we moved to the Warner Robins area last summer. Thank you to all the amazing teachers that provide quality dance instruction in a positive and encouraging environment. We’re so glad we found AoD!
Everyone here is so great! They make sure every one feels welcome. My daughter is going on 6 years here. She started when she was 5, she is now 11 and grows to love it more and more each year. The teachers (dance instructors) are awesome at teaching and actually helping them improve and explain the dances and different types.
My granddaughter loves Miss Kim and the friends she’s made.
New to the dance life but it is definitely something that my daughter looks forward to every week. We drive almost an hour one way to come to this dance academy. 😁
Absolutely love it!! My two year old just started with Karen’s class and she is amazing with the kids and my daughter has so much fun. It’s teaching her to work well with the other kids and she is loving to dance more and more everyday. Absolutely recommend it.
I love everything about AOD! All of the teachers are phenomenal and really strive to make sure the dancers reach their potential! my girls love it there and love the friendships they have made!!
